Well, I give up. All I wanted to do was download a new calendar for January 2011. I purchased Office Home and Student 2010 and it won't load along with Office 2003. I don't know how to get it to work. I'll take it to the kids down the street and pay them to fix it.
Happy happy day!
Happy new year anyway

It's Another Friday
Dear bloggie,
Hello again, It's another Friday and the weekend is full. The quilts are progressing nicely and I wish I had more time to finish. More photos to come of what's been done so far.
I have some still in the works and some that are needing to be done. This is my life and will be this way until I stop. I'm both blessed and cursed.
Tonight is quilting with the gang and I will work on the quilt from Jerry's class. I need ideas to quilt it.
Until I have time to post again...

Update - Life of Debbie
Dear Bloggie,
A lot has happened since I last posted. I've been halfway around the world and got a new part time job. I went to work for state Board of Equalization in early August. I like it, except for commuting downtown, and the work is not hard. I get to see people two days a week.
The trip of a lifetime #1 is in the books. I spent twelve days traveling through Europe and had a ball! Buckingham Palace, Oberammagau (Sp?), the Seine, the Rhine, Rome, Florence, Venice, Lucine, the Train Ride, the Palace at Versailles (SP?), the Moulon Rouge, the Eiffel tower, too much! My favorite was Florence. I could long-term visit there. The trip was "If It's Tuesday, it Must Be Belgium." genre. Very fast and I wanted to stay longer, which set me up for another tour.
More later....

Slow days
Hi Everyone!
Very slow unproductive days. The only thing new is the decorations on the front porch. Pictures to follow.
Going to Tayo's to work on a project.

Good Morning Bloggie,
I went to the art group meeting yesterday and was inspired by what others have done. I learned a lot, too. I learned that what I create in my head and imagine as a project usually will not produce the exact same image after scissors are put to fabric.
I also learned if the first image doesn't work well, make another one. Others do this, too.
There is a group that meets in the south area twice a week that excluseively work on their own projects. I lost my place I used to sew once a week (read I left because of wagging tongues). I'm hopeful this group will be a better fit for me. A safe place I can go to piece my own stuff.
I'll keep you posted.

May 18, birthday eve eve
Dear Bloggie,
Two days until my birthday. I feel like a little kid. I'm going shopping on my b-day and buying fabric and clothes. I can't think of a better way to spend it. Also getting card to insert my cell phone chip into my computer to get the pictures off the phone. I have 152 pics on the phone. Mostly quilts. blah blah blah.
More later
Did a Halloween Quilt - that was a struggle to mentally go to October in May. I did it and it looks good.
Tomorrow is meet with long time customer in a far away place. Road trip.
